HRL would like to introduce artist Cindy Hughes, a Monticello, Florida, resident who creates art from her shop, Horse Lady Gifts, on an old southern plantation near the Florida-Georgia border.
Cindy is a multi-faceted equine artist working in metal (jewelry) as well as painting and wood.
The jewelry designs are her own, and so is the craftsmanship. Each item is hand produced by Cindy in her shop, designed in clay, cast in pewter – no China out-sourcing here! She has designed jewelry for many Fortune 500 companies, and her market stretches from coast to coast. It is easy to see why; If you love jewelry and love horses, she creates just for you.
Like Friesians? There are pieces modeled after the breed, along with Gypsy Vanners, Hunter Jumpers, Arabians, and the list goes on.
Having ridden since a very young age and schooled in dressage, horses are her inspiration and continue to be a part of her everyday life. They are the joy and the enterprise of her horse and rider living.
While we have included a few pieces for you to peruse, these are by no means everything you can choose from! Check out her work on Facebook and or shop her site on Etsy and Amazon.
Also, as an HRL holiday spirit exclusive, we are giving away a $50 credit to make a Horse Lady Gifts work of art your own! Fill out your information here, and we will announce a randomly chosen winner on January 15th, 2020.
